Please call 1 to 2 business days in advance to schedule the oil delivery when bad weather is expected to assure a prompt delivery.

You should never allow the tank to get less than 1/4 so you do not have to worry about running out of oil (as long as the gauge is accurate).

If you do happen to run out of oil, Diesel fuel from your local gas stattion is compatible with heathing oil. You can put the diesel fuel in the same fill ipe as the oil wold go into. About 5 to 10 gallons can last you until the next day, however, you may require to restart your furnace if it has run out of oil.
